  1. Download the HomeMenu mobile app from Google Play Store.
  2. While signing up, please select “Yes” option to become a Home Chef.
  3. After logging in, use the “HomeMenu logo” icon or “Role” icon on home page to switch to ‘Home Chef’ mode. Now you can add your address, Categories and other details.
  4. HomeMenu team will contact you for next steps
  5. Your products will be visible to Buyers after HomeMenu Admin approval
  6. Once a Buyer places an order for your product, you will get a notification

Preparation time is the amount of time required to prepare your product. For example: If your product is Biriyani, and you require 5 hours for preparing it, please provide the preparation time as 5 hours while adding the product.
If it is any other product like vegetables or fish it would be time taken to get the product ready.

Due to the current covid-19 situation, we are having only one option - The home chef delivering the food directly to the customer

Since we have “Home delivery” as the only option currently, and the Home Chef is delivering, please have the product ready based on time taken for the delivery.

All the products will be visible in the Home Chef home page itself.

Option 1 - From Home Chef home page, select “My Account”. You can change your availability.

Option 2 - From the Home Chef home page, you can change the status of each product. Change the status of each product from Available to “Not Available” or vice versa. Note: when the status is being changed, please see to it that the existing orders are completed.

Every product added to HomeMenu will undergo an approval process by our team. After approval, the product will be available for consumers to buy.

No, you cannot buy products without registering/logging into the HomeMenu mobile app.

Yes, we do offer home delivery. Please select the ‘Home Delivery’ option while placing your order. Delicious food will be delivered at your door step!

Team HomeMenu provides the bonus points as part of seasonal offers which might vary from time to time. For exploring the offer details, please navigate to the “Offers” icon on the home page.

Few examples of how you can earn bonus points by doing one of the following:

  • Sharing HomeMenu to your family and friends.
  • Making your 1st, 10th or 100th purchase.

You can redeem your bonus points while purchasing products on HomeMenu. 25% of the total price can be availed through Bonus points. While placing your order, please click on ‘Yes’ for ‘Use bonus points’ to avail this.

You can leave a comment for the home chef regarding any preferences while placing an order: “Any specific preferences the Home Chef needs to know? (Example: less spicy, allergic to dairy)”

In addition to the Product cost, there will be Delivery charges, Packing charges, GST and payment gateway charges (in the case of online payments/net banking) as applicable.

Currently we have requested our Home chefs to deliver the food. Third party delivery is not available currently

Yes, we need a soft copy of your photo and Aadhar card, with which we will apply for an FSSAI license under your name.

Team HomeMenu will assist you in the process of obtaining an FSSAI license.

HomeMenu is a platform for healthy, clean and hygienic food. To make sure that all home chefs adhere to the norms suggested by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), the FSSAI registration is mandated.

On the HomeMenu App, Click on ‘My Account, My Orders’ on the home page for the entire list of orders and ‘Upcoming Orders’ for the orders placed for next 2 days.

Please use the ‘Request for Product’ option to suggest products of your choice. These suggestions will be visible to nearby Home Chefs, and you will be notified in case a Home Chef responds to your request.
